3 Ways to Heal From the Pain of Breaking Up

The mind cannot be closed to emotions even though we wish to forget certain harsh memories and carry on the path without thinking about the negativities that we had gone through.A break up is one such situation,which leaves a severe pain at a loss of some who had been very dear and close.

There are many distractions from the loneliness and pain you are going through.

1. Wait some time. As impossible as it may sound, it is a fair possibility that you and your ex need to cool off a little. You should distance yourself from you ex unless the situation cannot be avoided. These unavoidable situations include working at the same job or going to the same classes. Thinking that you can just be friends won’t help get your ex back or fill the void that is left in your heart.

The old out of sight, out of mind is totally true in these cases, avoiding contact is the best way to begin to forget. Distance can make the heart grow fonder.

2. It’s party time! Get some friends together and go do something fun for the night. There’s nothing like hanging out with your closest friends and even for several straight nights can be just what you need and make you forget a good portion of the break up pain you’re feeling. Take it easy on the alcohol, however, as it can lead to bad things, like a drunken phone call in the middle of the night!

3. As you and your friends are out enjoying yourselves you’re surely going to attract the attention of other girls. Don’t worry, this is perfectly ok. There’s no need to feel guilty about this, in fact, it’s good to enjoy the company of hot girls. They make you feel that you’re wanted again and that living life without your ex isn’t going to be as miserable and terrible as you thought it might be.

You can feel better just by flirting and hanging out with some girls that are hot and sexy, you don’t have to date them to feel your life is looking up.

It’s entirely possible to create an endless list of things you can do to get over your break up pain. Finding a new hobby, working out, a night out with your friends are great things to do to help you deal with the pain, but they are also great things to do to get your girl back.
